This month I thought it would be great to just share with you the brand new DUBA EXPEDITION CAMP, located in the heart of the classic OKAVANGO DELTA. A habitat which consists of flood plains, woodlands and palm dotted islands that are to be seen on this 77,000-acre private concession in Northern Botswana. The camp has been outfitted by National Geographic Filmmakers and Great Plains Conservation co-founders Beverly & Dereck Joubert whom I have admired immensely for many years.
Duba Expedition camp has six expedition style exclusive tents on raised decking, each set on the banks with amazing view of the floodplains. Each tent has a small desk and private veranda plus en suite facilities, flush toilets, double basins and of course an indoor shower.
Duba Expedition Camp caters for 12 guests sharing in the six tented villas, so it's a really special experience, plus there is the additional guide tent. Children from 6 years old are welcome.
The main area is under sweeping marquis canvas, on raised decking and consists of an open-concept dining and lounge area, which opens to the outdoors on all sides.
When the sun goes down you can wind down by sitting around the fire pit listening to the sounds of the night. It's absolutely magic whilst enjoying a chilled glass of Amarula - this is AFRICA!
This area is one of Botswana’s most prolific wildlife destinations with several unique mammal sightings, in addition to the famous Big Five.
Activities include morning and late afternoon/early evening game drives in open 4x4s and boat-based activities when the water levels permit.
Rates are inclusive of all activities meals, park fees, alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages (excluding imported and premium spirits).
Have a look at the video below its absolutely amazing - Enjoy!
